VISIT THE FOUNDER'S MANSION

The history of the Mansion goes back to the beginnings of the Spanish occupation of Peru when the land where this building is built was assigned to the founder of the city of Arequipa, Don Manuel Garcí de Carbajal, who would order the beginning of this monumental construction.

Its penultimate owner was the illustrious Spanish Juan Crisóstomo de Goyeneche and Aguerreverre, who rebuilt the property as a hacienda and a country palace for ecclesiastical and civil dignitaries of that time.

In the year of 1981 a group of six enthusiasts fans to the architecture of the city, acquired the property that was in ruins; And after long and laborious months the total refurbishment of the property was achieved, which was equipped with comfortable and modern facilities.
